Zurich/Dielsdorf, 12 September 2025. – After four successful editions at the end of August, the international junior tournament Zurich Youth Masters will take place at a new date next year, namely from 13 to 17 May 2026, once again at Horse Park Zurich-Dielsdorf.
The FEI has officially confirmed the new date. This means that the Zurich Youth Masters will once again be part of the most important young talent series in European show jumping in 2026, combining the following competitions:
• CSIO Children / Juniors / Young Riders (Ch/J/Y)
• CSI U25 (L.R. and EY-Cup)
Initiator and tournament director Dr Yves von Ballmoos: „By moving the event to May, we can optimally complement the international tournament calendar and offer our participants the best sporting conditions. We are delighted that the FEI has confirmed our new date and that the Zurich Youth Masters will continue to be an integral part of the FEI Nations Cup Youth™. The organising committee will now immediately begin preparations for the 2026 event.“
Promoting young talent behind the scenes
The organising committee is not only committed to promoting young talent in sport. In recent years, the team around the founders has been specifically supplemented by young talent from Swiss equestrian sports in key areas such as infrastructure, hospitality, finance, sponsorship and marketing – including in the departments of sport, volunteer organisation, supporting programme, social media and communication. This means that the basic idea of promoting young talent is also consistently put into practice within the organisation.
