We are fully aware of the administrational difficulties of a journey to Switzerland with horses. To support our international guests as much as possible we provide you with extensive services regarding the border crossing of your horses. We recommend contacting our forwarding partner Rhenus in Basel. (Francesco Garlisi ist happy to assist you (francesco.garlisi@ch.rhenus.com). Alternatively you can fill out the below form with all necessary information of your competing horses 20 days prior to your trip. You may also e-mail your data to lisbeth@youth-masters.ch.
Please be aware that a border crossing with a “customs free pass” is only possible during office hours (Monday to Friday). Alternatively, you may open a Carnet ATA by your own which allows you a border crossing at any time. Since the carnet is valid for 12 months, you will also benefit if you take part at the Swiss youth show in Chevenez.
